Your skin is a mirror to the inside of your body. Just before Melissa’s mom showed her first signs of Bile Duct Cancer, Melissa noticed weeks before that her mom’s skin didn’t look right. It was dry, crepey, and aged. She even recalls pointing it out and communicating the drastic changes to her mom. What she thought would’ve been a quick fix with some of her magic skincare potions, ended up being the very beginning of the hardest days of her life, as she watched her mom through her very short battle with Cholangiocarcinoma.
As a skincare specialist, Melissa understands the toll the disease, and its treatments have on the skin. Although there are other bigger issues at hand other than having compromised skin, Melissa and her sister always made sure their mom had a little bit of selfcare, even if it meant she felt at ease for only a few moments.
For this reason, Melissa has implemented the GLO For A Cure Campaign, where you can nominate yourself or a loved one who is battling, or has battled this disease and is experiencing the effects the journey has had on their skin.
The GLO For A Cure Facial is specifically designed to rebuild the skin’s barrier function, hydrate, and soothe dry & irritated skin.

To qualify for this treatment the nominee must :
Currently be battling the disease and/or undergoing treatment
or, in remission for no longer than 1 year. The skin has the ability to heal itself within the first 1-2 years post treatment/illness. Our treatment is designed to restore the skin, while it is still compromised or directly impacted by the disease & treatments .
Consult with their physician to ensure there are no contraindications. A full list of ingredients used will be provided if needed. Although, our selection of products are designed specifically for compromised skin and has no active or stimulating ingredients. It only deeply calms snd nourishes the skin
Have no open sores or wounds on their skin
Pleas note, if you are nominating someone, and unsure of the above information, please proceed with the nomination as we will be conducting a qualification screening prior to booking their appointment! If after the qualification screening, the nominee does not qualify, and only some, but not all qualifications are met, we will still offer your nominee a credit toward this specific service. If none of the qualifications are met, they are still welcome to book this service at full cost. The value of this service is $150.
We have allotted only a certain number of time slots per week. If all spots are full, the nominee will be booked at a later date, or placed on a cancellation list
We will contact nominees to book their appointments in order their nominations were received.
