On May 26, 2020 Melissa, founder of GLO Laser & Skin Studio, lost her mother to Cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive cancer that took her from them only 70 short days after her diagnosis.
Although her mother knew that her prognosis was not good, she fought hard to stay with her family, now they need to continue the fight for her.
In Fiorina’s memory, and in honour of legacy, Melissa has launched the GLO For A Cure Initiative.
Each year on Fiorina’s birthday, April 26, GLO Laser & Skin Studio will be raising money in an effort to donate to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, and The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation. Your generous support will help us fulfill our mission. For those who make a minimum donation of $35, you will receive a 30 minute facial as a thank you for your support.
You will also have the opportunity to nominate a loved one or yourself through our GLO For A Cure Campaign. Those who are nominated will receive a complimentary treatment that is focused on helping the skin repair itself after, or during ones cancer journey.
Fundraising, and nominations will be open from April 26-April 29 each year.
