Which Cosmetic Injection Is Right For You?
What type of cosmetic injection is right for you?
With all the skincare technologies and options out there, its often difficult to decide what option is best for you, and your needs.
We always recommend ensuring your skin is healthy first. Fillers and botox don't necessarily improve the health of your skin, but rather just the appearance of it.
If you have your regular facials, and are using proper professional grade home care, doing fillers and botox Vaughan, might be something worth considering. As we age, our elastin and collagen production dramatically decrease, which makes it a bit more difficult to get that younger looking skin with medical grade facials alone.
Topping up your skincare with injectables will be that cherry on top of the cake!
Let's break it down,
Botox - doing Botox Vaughan will relax the muscles responsible for movement, creat creases in the skin. It is ideal to have this type of injection on the forehead, in between the eye brows, & crows feet. You can also treat the bunny lines, which are the lines that appear if you scrunch your nose! Did you know, you can also use botox to reduce the appearance of a gummy smile, give a brow lift, and to also eliminate a chin dimple? We can use Botox for conditions such as migraines and hyperhydrosis!
Fillers - We choose fillers to "fill" areas that have been depleted of collagen and elastin, and require more density to give a smoother, tighter, and youthful look. The areas we use dermal filler on are areas such as the jawline and cheeks to contour, under eyes to reduce hollowness, marionette lines, nasal labial folds and lips. This does not do the same thing as botox Vaughan. Hyaluronic acid is used to fill the area to soften the appearance and/or contour certain areas of the face.
When planning your visit at a botox Vaughan clinic, ensure you have a thorough consultation with the nurse to make sure your needs are met and that the right product is selected for your concerns. For botox you should expect to see results fully kick in within 14 days from your injection, and can last up to 3 months. The more consistent you are with it, the longer the results last inbetween treatments due to muscle memory.
Dermal fillers on the other hand can last between 6-12 months depending on the area, and how fast the body breaks down the product. Usually good quality product lasts longer as the body is more familiarized and doesn't not fight to get rid of it. Unlike botox, if you are unhappy with the results a product called hyaluronidase can be used to dissolve the filler.
To avoid disappointment, it is best you do your research and don't always look for the "cheapest price". Good quality product comes with a price, and it is one that is totally worth paying.
At our clinic, we only use the best products to ensure client satisfaction. In some cased our nurse may even use a few different brands that can deliver the result that is best for what you are looking for.
